Thank you for choosing Clean Here Now, LLC for your cleaning needs! These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable experience for both our clients and our cleaning technicians. Please review the following terms and conditions before your first cleaning. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
1. Preparation Guidelines
To help us provide the best service, please prepare your home as follows:
Put away loose items (e.g., papers, toys, valuables).
Ensure the vacuum is accessible if you’d like us to use it.
Put away dishes and prepare garbage bags.
Secure pets or inform us of any special pet-related instructions.
2. Technology and Communication
We use technology to enhance your experience:
You’ll receive an email reminder 3 days before your service and a text reminder the day before.
Automated text messages are one-way, but you can opt out at any time.
After your cleaning, you may receive a follow-up survey to help us improve our service.
All payments are processed electronically. No cash or checks are accepted. Please reach out if necessary.
3. Safety and Liability
Technician Safety
Our technicians need a distraction-free environment to work safely and efficiently. If distractions slow them down, we may charge for additional time.
If a technician feels unsafe due to client actions, pets, or other factors, the service will be considered complete, and the full fee will apply.
Bio-Hazard Situations
For the safety of our team, please inform us of any bio-hazard situations (e.g., mold, pests, or waste). If a bio-hazard is present, we cannot service your home, and the full fee will apply. Documentation of resolution (e.g., pest control report) is required before rescheduling.
Furniture and Ladders
We do not move heavy furniture or use ladders taller than 2 steps.
Please move furniture away from walls if you’d like us to clean behind it.
Home Alarm Systems
We are not liable for false alarm charges due to code changes not brought to our attention before servicing your home.
4. Entry to Your Home
We offer three entry options:
Client Home: Be present to let us in. If no one is home, the full fee will apply.
Key/Code: Provide a key, garage code, or door code. Keys are stored securely and only issued on your service day.
Lockbox: Purchase a lockbox and provide the code. If the key is missing or the code doesn’t work, the full fee will apply.
Note: If you leave a door unlocked or a key in an unsecured location, we are not liable for damages or theft.
5. Cleaning Services and Limitations
What We Do
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and general cleaning.
Use of eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products (unless you provide alternatives).
High-quality service tailored to your needs.
Dusting Details
We dust small items (e.g., knick-knacks, picture frames) based on the number of items per shelf:
10 or fewer items: Hand-dusted and returned to the shelf.
More than 10 items: Dusted in place.
We do not dust items higher than a 2-step ladder can reach or remove wall decorations.
Vacuum Use Liability Waiver
To prevent cross-contamination, we prefer to use your vacuum. If you don’t have one, we can bring ours.
We perform a 5-point check on your vacuum before use:
Bag replacement.
Cord condition.
Belt condition.
Filter replacement.
Shell condition.
We are not liable for vacuum repairs unless damage is caused by misuse.
What We Don’t Do
Move heavy furniture or clean areas requiring repairs.
Handle bio-hazard cleaning (e.g., mold, pests, or waste).
Use industrial-grade cleaners, bleach (unless requested for bathrooms), or client-provided products without prior approval.
Additional Services
Additional fees apply for:
Cleaning inside appliances (e.g., oven, fridge).
Washing dishes, laundry, or windows.
Organizing and decluttering (contact us for details).
6. Pets and Breakage
Pets
Please secure pets before our arrival. We are not responsible for pet-related damages or injuries.
We do not handle pet waste (e.g., litter boxes).
Breakage
We are not liable for damage to items that are fragile, unstable, or improperly secured.
If an item is broken, we will document it and reimburse up to $100 per item (or replacement cost if verifiable). Please preserve broken items for inspection.
7. Payment and Cancellation Policies
Payment
A $60 deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is charged on the service day.
We accept debit/credit cards only. No cash or checks.
Cancellations
48-Hour Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling require 48 business hours’ notice. Less notice incurs a 50% fee.
Same-Day Cancellations: Charged in full.
No Access: If we cannot access your home, the full fee applies.
Price Increases
We reserve the right to raise prices with advance notice to ensure quality service.
8. Privacy and Photo/Video Policy
Privacy
Please secure confidential documents, valuables, and illegal substances before our arrival.
Our technicians respect your privacy and will not handle personal items.
Photos
Photos may be taken with your consent to document cleaning quality or damages. They will not include personal items and are used only for internal purposes.
You can request copies or deletion of photos at any time.
Videos
Video recordings are not permitted unless agreed upon in advance.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
We strive for 100% satisfaction. If you’re unhappy with any part of our service:
Report the issue within 24 hours via call, email, or text.
We’ll re-clean the affected area at no additional cost.
Refunds are not offered, but we are committed to making it right.
10. Additional Policies
Non-Solicitation
Clients may not hire Clean Here Now, LLC employees directly. A $2,500 training fee applies if this occurs.
Termination
We may terminate services at any time. Unpaid fees will result in service suspension.
Collection Fees
Clients are responsible for collection and attorney fees if accounts are not paid.
11. Legal Provisions
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of California.
Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and Clean Here Now, LLC and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through mediation in California, governed by the laws of California. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
Deposit Agreement
By making the $60 deposit, you agree to the following:
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Clean Here Now, LLC, as outlined in this document. This includes all policies regarding preparation, safety, liability, payment, cancellations, and satisfaction guarantees.Non-Refundable Deposit:
The $60 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations, rescheduling, or failure to provide access to your home on the scheduled service day.Payment Authorization:
You authorize Clean Here Now, LLC to charge the remaining balance to your card on file on the day of the scheduled service. If your card is declined, you agree to provide updated payment information promptly.Cancellation Policy:
You agree to the cancellation policy, which requires 48 business hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less notice will incur a 50% fee, and same-day cancellations will be charged in full.
Liability and Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clean Here Now, LLC from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your failure to disclose hazards, secure pets, or provide a safe working environment.
Privacy and Photo/Video Policy:
You consent to the use of photos (with your approval) for quality control and documentation purposes, as outlined in the Privacy and Photo/Video Policy.
Governing Law:
You agree that these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of California.
By proceeding with the $60 deposit, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
